PR Bio
Sarah and Becky, the printmakers behind Nettle Cottage Prints, create soothing uplifting lino prints from their studio in the North York Moors. Sarah is a printmaker, writer and art therapist, and Becky is a printmaker and poet with a background in psychology.
Inspired by their moorland surroundings and slow, seasonal living, their work is strongly influenced by their deep love and knowledge of local and natural folklore. Through their journey with ill health, Sarah and Becky have decades of combined experience of implementing slow living into their everyday life, connecting to nature and expressing this through their work. Their mission, through both their prints and experiential workshops, is to help people to connect to themselves and the seasons, as well as to the strength they can draw from nature’s symbolism.
