Symbolism: family & facing problems head on

Red legged partridges, found in delightful abundance across the moors, mate for life. Both parents share the responsibility of caring for their young. Their plump, round shape allows for energy conservation, and they hunker down close to the ground, wisely avoiding wind when they can. However, as we all know, it’s not always possible to avoid life's adversities. When the wind is unavoidable, the brave, adaptable partridge faces into it, avoiding heat loss to ruffled feathers.

The details:

This 30cm x 30cm off-white mounted print is ready to be placed in a frame of your choice.

This original lino print was carved by hand in the North York Moors and printed with non-toxic ink on beautiful Ho-sho paper, which has some natural flecks.

There are also slight variations in the finished print. This is part of the charm of an original print.

All packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable.
